How it Works

Once you’re in… here’s how to work through the website.

Step 1. MY ACCOUNT tab:

This page allows you to make changes to your schools’ profile and account information under the My Account tab along the left-hand side of the page.

Step 2. DELIVERABLES tab:

This page is a one-off agreement which allows you to add your school lunch break, special delivery instructions and Health & Safety documents etc.

Step3. MY SCHOOL tab

This page allows you add number of lunches required and upload dietaries information. Top part with school information is an autofill from the Deliverable but you can add any additional contact emails required here.

Meal Requirement:

  1. Click on each size, enter Total Meals Required (ex. Dietaries)
  2. Hit UPDATE

Student Dietary Information:

This file allows you to enter your dietary meals, classroom list with student names and required dietaries to ensure the correct meals are delivered to the correct child.

  1. Click on Student Dietary Template to open file and then select the Download option.
  2. Fill in required dietaries and save file on your local desktop.
  3. Go to My School – Meal Requirements – Choose File.
  4. UPDATE. (Save this file for future updates)

Step4. The Ka Ora, Ka Ako Menu tab:

This will take you through to the menu for the term and allows you to edit individual days of the week. Your menu has been pre-imported with our recommended cycle. Anything illustrated in grey can no longer be edited manually – you will need to contact info@schoollunchcollective.co.nz to see if we can fulfil your requirements.

Changing the number of meals:

  1. Move to the date you would like the desired change to occur
  2. Click on the edit button in the top right-hand corner of that calendar date
  3. Make the desired amendments in the correct meal size boxes (junior, intermediate, and senior meals)
  4. Don’t forget to give us a reason
  5. Hit SAVE

Putting in Teacher only days, EOTC days, Regional holiday days:

  1. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for changing numbers
  2. Change all numbers to Zero
  3. Don’t forget to give us a reason
  4. Hit SAVE

EOTC days that only affect some students – follow steps 1-4 of the “Changing the number of meals” process
